Learning Technologies

Moving towards more Learning technologies, I’ve decided to write more about other technologies that I use and educate others about.  You may see some real changes with the blog in the coming months as I connect more with my learning community and contemplate the format and content for this site.  As always your feedback is most welcome.

Mobile Learning

Understanding students as active individuals, mobility is key for integrating technology in education today. Static teaching will produce static thinking. Shifting the instructional strategies to include mobile devices will reach more students more often. Currently, the use of cellphones is banned in most schools and the use of handheld computers (PDAs) is limited. Mobilemind-ed will explore and promote the use of mobile devices in K-12 education.
